Description

“Year Thirty-One” is the thirty-second painting in the “34” Series by Laura Noel, completed in 2018-2019. The series was an experiment in “abstract as autobiography,” where each painting of the series was meant to loosely represent a year of the artist’s life.

A few words about “Year Thirty-One” from the artist:

This was a time of deep involvement in the local arts scene. I also started my first art car and discovered a supportive and wonderful community in the Artcar community. I further developed my artistic voice, and left my office job to try my hand at full time self-employment.
