Description

“Year Ten” is the eleventh painting in the “34” Series by Laura Noel, completed in 2018-2019. The series was an experiment in “abstract as autobiography,” where each painting of the series was meant to loosely represent a year of the artist’s life.

A few words about “Year Ten” from the artist:

I was in fourth grade. Music entered my life- first through school musicals, and then through school music class where I learned every parent’s favorite instrument (besides drums) – The recorder.
