Description

When I lived in California, The Vallejo Community Arts Foundation used to host an annual program where they recruited local artists to fill vacant storefront windows in downtown Vallejo with art to brighten up the area and highlight the space’s potential to renters or small businesses looking for space.  I applied for and was selected as one of the artists for the 2015 program year, and produced an original body of work that included eight new acrylic paintings for the occasion. This is one of the paintings from this series. Lake Dalwigk is a seasonal lake that was near my old home in Vallejo.
