Description

This drawing is part of a larger body of work I created in 2012. The series is all based around actual trees found along Lake Merritt in Oakland, Ca. The drawings were built upon on-location sketches, drawings, and personal reference photography I took on my walks around the lake. Each drawing is a mixture of acrylic painting, which I used for the base colors and backgrounds, and colored pencil use for the detailing and fine lines of the trees.
