Description

“Botanical Inventions #7” is an original acrylic painting I made as part of a mini-series of similar small scale paintings in March of 2020. I actually had started the set almost a year prior, but had put them aside to work on some larger work and sort of forgot about them. Thankfully, with unexpected time on my hands during the first part of California’s Shelter in Place ordinance, I re-discovered them and was able to bring new life to the series! The completed 7 paintings in the set all feature a rich red, brown, and green color pallet, with lots of swirling forms and circles. They were all inspired by floral and mossy motifs, which is why I decided to call them “Botanical Inventions.”

I am not going to offer prints of this series. They are one of a kind creations, specially priced to sell fast!
