Description

When I lived in California, The Vallejo Community Arts Foundation used to host an annual program where they recruited local artists to fill vacant storefront windows in downtown Vallejo with art to brighten up the area and highlight the space’s potential to renters or small businesses looking for space.  I applied for and was selected as one of the artists for the 2015 program year, and produced an original body of work that included eight new acrylic paintings for the occasion. This set of three interconnected paintings is part of that series. These particular paintings are based on the rocky hills of Blue Rock Springs park in Vallejo, CA; a place I often walked and hiked.  This listing is for the set of 3 16×20” paintings
